I have been playing a ridiculous amount of Grand Theft Auto : Liberty City Stories on my PSP recently, so I started a fan pic that combined that game, with another god of the video game industry, Super Mario World! I tried to combine the styles of art which ended up looking really creepy, though I liked it. The GTA art is done with Vector so I used Toon Boom to paint the separate images then combined them in Photoshop. I tried to keep every picture in the same situation as the GTA : LCS cover images, just replaced with Mario characters and objects (example I replaced the Helicopter with Lakitu, car speeding away from explosion with the koopa-kart, and Salvatore Leone face shot with Mario face shot). I also had to recreate the extra stuff on the PSP cover with stuff of my own, including falty company logos, my production symbol (the M16 forming my initials on the top right) and a bogus rating. This took more time then my usual pics, and I do like the final outcome, hope all who see it do to.
